The remains of Temple of Jupiter at the entrance of Omayyad Mosque

Temple of Jupiter is the temple of Damascus in the old city of Damascus, Syria, no more than sampling only a few columns off the door of the Omayyad Mosque, part of the temple wall in the alley back of the mosque, and a large part of it (sanctum) was at the site of the great Omayyad Mosque, and the scattered parts of the effects of This temple in houses and shops and boxes around the old city is the Omayyad mosque since 2006 concerning the disclosure of the effects of the temple in the region corresponding to the Omayyad clan of the Whole.

معبد جوبتير الدمشقي هو معبد في مدينة دمشق القديمة بسوريا، لم يبق منه للمعاينة إلا بضعة أعمدة قبالة باب الجامع الأموي وجزء من سور المعبد في الزقاق الخلفي للجامع ، وجزء كبير منه (قدس الأقداس) كان في مكان جامع بني أمية الكبير، وتتناثر أجزاء من آثار هذا المعبد داخل بيوت ومحلات وخانات المدينة القديمة المحيطة بالجامع الأموي ويتم منذ العام 2006 الكشف عن آثار تخص المعبد في المنطقة المقابلة لباب الجامع الأموي القبلي .

I love the angle, it just looks so majestic! and the sky is also brilliant, the blue/purple makes the columns stand out more.

I like your choice of point of view and the colors of the stones merge with the sunset.. Awesome!
This shot also reminds me of Baalbeck, in Lebanon =)

Wow the colors in this photo are so vibrant. It's so sad what's happening in Syria right now. :( I hope something is done to help them.

actually it's so sad what happening specially that we got over 10,000 people killed by Syrian Regime, hope that solved soon, coz over 775 people killed in last 5 days

I know, it's horrible. I don't understand how the Regime can be so heartless and cruel. I hope something is done to help them and soon before it's too late :(
